The Davey Tree Expert Company has immediate openings in the field of landscape and grounds maintenance, as Landscape Crew Foreman. Davey is a national horticulture landscape management firm, with operations throughout the US and Canada. POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Richmond, VA JOB DUTIES: Manage, direct and oversee assigned crew in execution of daily landscape installation work, grounds maintenance and/or mowing assignments, depending on assigned operational area and personal experience and expertise. QUALIFICATIONS: Two or Four year degree in Turf, Landscaping, Horticulture or related discipline is a plus, but not required; Minimum one year experience in landscaping and/or grounds maintenance; Experience as a crew foreman in landscape installations or mowing maintenance operations; Excellent communication skills; Leadership experience and a desire for career growth will be given a priority. Valid Driver's License is required. Class B CDL License or ability to attain it shortly-- Will be transporting crew in company trucks; Bi-Lingual -Spanish, very valuable, but not required. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Full time hourly positions. Compensation based on qualifications and experience. We are a military family relocating to the Fort Lee Area in mid-June, in need of a reliable young lady to care for our 2-year-old girl and 6-year-old boy while we are at work or for date nights. I am a Zumba instructor and will teach hourly classes throughout the week, I may need care provided when attending trainings. My husband is in the Army. We like to go on weekly or bi-weekly date nights so need someone that may be available for late nights or occasional overnights. Driver's licensed needed. I would like someone who speaks Spanish but not a must. Someone who likes the idea of children playing outdoors rather than being in front of the TV. Diversified Maintenance is seeking an experienced Area Manager in Richmond, VA area for retail, grocery and industrial worksites. We are a growing company and need great people to join our team! The Area Manager is responsible for budget control, customer satisfaction, payroll, managing sites and to assume new duties as they occur. Candidates must supervise the work of cleaning crews with duties, including but not limited to; cleaning facility, trash removal, cleaning bathrooms, mopping and sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and operating necessary equipment. Territory size will require some overnight travel and over seeing work that is performed during day and night shifts. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and have a clean criminal background. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred. Requirements: Prior supervisory experience (supervisory position), some building services or janitorial experience and high school diploma or equivalency. Reliable and trustworthy, able to work in a team but handle tasks independently, problem solver and have a customer service attitude. Able to lift objects that exceed 25 lbs, and carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs. knowledge and experience operating floor equipment.
