Diversified Maintenance is seeking an experienced Area Manager in Richmond, VA area for retail, grocery and industrial worksites. We are a growing company and need great people to join our team! The Area Manager is responsible for budget control, customer satisfaction, payroll, managing sites and to assume new duties as they occur. Candidates must supervise the work of cleaning crews with duties, including but not limited to; cleaning facility, trash removal, cleaning bathrooms, mopping and sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and operating necessary equipment. Territory size will require some overnight travel and over seeing work that is performed during day and night shifts. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and have a clean criminal background. Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferred. Requirements: Prior supervisory experience (supervisory position), some building services or janitorial experience and high school diploma or equivalency. Reliable and trustworthy, able to work in a team but handle tasks independently, problem solver and have a customer service attitude. Able to lift objects that exceed 25 lbs, and carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs. knowledge and experience operating floor equipment.
